The Israeli Defense Forces announced Monday that more than 2,000 distinct military targets across Iran have been struck since the start of the joint US-Israeli campaign, in what officials described as the largest coordinated air operation in the region since the 2003 Iraq war.

IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said the targets spanned nuclear enrichment facilities, ballistic missile production plants, air-defense radars, IRGC command centers, naval bases, and underground storage depots.

'We have significantly degraded Iran's ability to threaten Israel with nuclear weapons or long-range missiles,' Hagari said at a briefing in Tel Aviv.

Independent satellite imagery analysts at the Middlebury Institute confirmed extensive damage at Natanz, Fordow, Isfahan's nuclear research center, and the Imam Ali missile base near Kermanshah.

However, several experts warned that hardened underground facilities at Fordow may have survived, given that even the most powerful conventional munitions struggle to guarantee penetration to the deepest levels.

Iran claimed to have dispersed much of its strategic missile inventory before operations began, raising questions about how much of the capability has actually been neutralized.
